LOS ANGELES
The idea of “THE ANGELS” was born in LOS ANGELES, “the city of angels”.
36 angels are representing different parts of the world. They are connected with each other as to create a harmonic ensemble.
The purpose of the artist is to establish a symbiosis between photography and paintings (acrylic on canvas, each 40 x 50 cm) and to create “guardian angels” for our world. Each canvas was photographed at different locations around the globe.
The following 18 angels were photographed in the United States of America, on a road trip cross country from Miami, Florida to Los Angeles, California, summer 2001.
The other 18 angels were photographed throughout Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia…
